Judith Englert passed away at her home in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at home. She was 72 years old. Born in Hazelton, PA, she resided in Avenel for the past 40 years. Mrs. Englert graduated from Hazelton State Nursing College and was employed as a surgical nurse at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx for 20 years and then as a nurse at Amboy Care Center in Perth Amboy before retiring in 1987. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Avenel. Surviving are her husband, James Englert; and a son, David Englert, of Avenel. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015 10:00 a.m. at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.
