Joyce Pauline Rigler passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at her home in Woodbridge. She was 84 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on December 13, 1938 to the late Cecelia and Walter Sweryd, she has resided in Woodbridge since 1976.

She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School.

Joyce was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge; and loved attending her grandchildren's events

In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Frank Rigler, in 2015.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Kris Roszkowski of Manalapan and Jackie Nyers, of Port Reading; sons in law, Rob Roszkowski and Bill Nyers; sister, Patricia Barbato, of Middletown, PA; adored grandchildren, Anthony, Brittany and Nick Nyers and Stephanie and Samantha Visco; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.  A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge.  Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
