Joyce P. Anzella passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at JFK Medical Center, Haven Hospice, in Edison. She was 71 years old.

Born in Newark, she has resided in Woodbridge for 53 years.

Mrs. Anzella was employed as a silk screener for Revlon Corporation in Edison for 16 years; and then as a teacher's aide at Saint James Grammar School in Woodbridge.

She was an animal lover and supporter of the ASPCA. She especially enjoyed the company of her dog, Danny Boy and cat, Pina Colada.

Mrs. Anzella was predeceased by her parents, Minnie and Louis Rippo; and siblings, Catherine, Rosemarie, Dickie and Billy.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, William A. Anzella; children, Anthony and Dawn; grandchildren, Sierra and Danielle; great grandchildren, Jacob and Owen; siblings, Butchie, Phyllis and Tina; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
