Josephine B. Shakarian passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 88 years of age. Born in Newark, she resided in Kearny before moving to Woodbridge in 1962.

She was greatly loved by her husband of 69 years, Albert Shakarian; her children, Barbara, Thomas and Albert Jr.; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jeffrey, Abigail and Grace; her great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Melody and Shelby. Josephine was blessed with a loving extended family and friends.

Visitation for friends and family will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 10:45 a.m. from the funeral home. A Liturgy will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Hopelawn.
