Josephine Ashton of Woodbridge passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Cranford Hall Nursing Home in Cranford. She was 87 years old.

Born in New York City; She lived in Woodbridge for many years.

Ms. Ashton was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

She was employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York before retiring.

Josephine was predeceased by her parents Joseph Cammarata and Frances Huested Cammarata; her sister Mary Williams.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Ashton.

Funeral services will take place Thursday, January 19, 2023 10:00 am from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Queens, NY.
