Mr. Joseph Thomas Turon of the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 88 years old. Born in Pittston, PA; He resided in Newark before moving to Colonia in 1954. Mr. Turon was a United States Army Veteran serving in Europe during World War II. He was employed with RCA in Harrison for 25 years and retired from Verrex Corp in Union in 1991. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 49 years Anna Marie Turon who passed in 2001; a grandson Joseph W. Kohut who passed in 2011; his Parents John Turon and Julia Soska Turon; a sister Eleanore Tomaskovicz; three brothers Andrew, Thomas, and Edward. He is survived by four children Joann V. Turon and her fiancé' Mike Lasek, Thomas N. Turon and his wife Aracely, Patricia Cardinale and her husband Gary, and John E. Turon and his wife Kristin' seven grandchildren Tara Marie Turon, Nicholas Turon and his fiancé' Georgette, Michael Cardinale and his wife Susanna, Andrew Turon, Jacob Turon, Thomas Turon, Aracely Turon; a great-grandchild Elizabeth Ashley Turon; a dear brother John F.
