Joseph J. Sidote, Jr. of Woodbridge passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 72 years old. Born in Rahway, NJ; He was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge. Mr. Sidote proudly served in the United States Army; he was a member of the Avenel Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7164. He owned and operated Stan-Mac Auto Body in Avenel and later was employed in the Garden Department at The Home Depot in Woodbridge before retiring in 2003. He was predeceased by his wife Judith who passed away on September 8, 2013; his parents Joseph J. Sidote, Sr. and Rose Sidote; and a sister Diane Tomko. He is survived by three daughters Jill Sidote of Barnaget, Jody Sidote of Woodbridge, and Jeannine Sidote of Woodbridge; a son Jonathan Sidote of Woodbridge; a brother William Sidote of Flemington; four grandchildren Philip, Alyssa, Ryan, and Christopher; his longtime partner Wanda Mastrangelo. A funeral service will take place Saturday 5:00 pm at the COSTELLO-GREINER FUNERAL HOME (www.Costello-greiner.com) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Cremation will be private; Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
