Joseph McCormick of the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at home.  He was 70 years old.

Born in Newark, NJ; He resided in Colonia most of his life.

Mr. McCormick was a 1970 graduate of Columbia High School, Maplewood, NJ.

He was employed as a Service Engineer with United Medical Systems before retiring and working part-time as a Security Guard for Favorites at OTW in Fords.

He was a Communicant of St. Helena's R.C. Church in Edison.

He was predeceased by his wife Linda Woodcock McCormick who passed away in 2017; his parents Donald and Ruth Lange McCormick; a sister Susan McCormick; and two brothers James McCormick and John McCormick.

He is survived by his children Jessica-Lynn Dinkel, Brianna Alexis Zolotnitsky and her husband Michael, and Nicole Rose Genao all of Old Bridge; his sisters Maureen Ciancanelli and her husband Royal of Beacon, NY and Annette Hopkins and her husband David of Easton, PA; a grandson Nicholas; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place Friday, March 3, 2023 6:00 pm at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.  Cremation will be private.

Visiting hours will begin on Friday, March 3, 2023 beginning at 3:00 pm.
