Jose Jorge of the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Runnells Center in Berkeley Heights, NJ. He was 90 years old.

Born in Portugal; He came to America on June 6, 1966 settling in Bridgeport, Connecticut where he resided until 1995 before moving to Colonia nine years ago.

Mr. Jorge worked in Construction most of his life before retiring many years ago.

He was a faithful communicant of St. John Vianney Church in Colonia.

He was predeceased by his first wife Izilda Sara Ferreira Jorge who passed away in 1983.

He is survived by his wife Anna Pereira Rodrigues Jorge; two sons Antonio Jorge and his wife Zelia of Colonia, and Avelino "Billy" Jorge of Connecticut; seven brothers and sisters Maria Paiva, Augusto Jorge, Ana Oliveira, Rosa Palhete, Joaquim Jorge, Laurinda Dos Santos, and Antonio P. Jorge six grandchildren Izilda Amber, Nicole, Alexis, Anthony, Eliza, and Dominick.

Funeral will take place Wednesday 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A 10:45 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. John Vianney R.C. Church, Colonia. Entombment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford Connecticut.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
