Jolene A. Papp passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township. She was 78 years old.

Born in Pennsylvania, she has resided in Avenel for most of her life.

Mrs. Papp provided care to many children through the years at her home.

She was a former member of The First Congregational Church of Woodbridge where she was very active and served as head deaconess and currently was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords.

She was predeceased by her husband, Zolton J. Papp, Sr., in 1988; her son, Zolton J. Papp, Jr., in 1990; her parents, Daniel and Helen Cinicola; and her brother, Michael Cinicola.

She is survived by her daughter, Ilona Kuntar, and her husband, Joseph, of Edison; and her adored granddaughter, Gianna Jolene Kuntar, who was her heart and soul .

Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 28 South Fourth Street, Fords. Interment will follow in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 28 South Fourth Street, Fords, NJ 08863 or the First Congregational Church of Woodbridge, 539 Barron Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
