John Sabol of the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 87 years old.

Born in Bayonne, NJ; He resided in Iselin for the past 51 years.

Mr. Sabol was a History Teacher at Ferris High School in Jersey City for 31 years retiring in 1992; after his retirement he was a substitute Teacher with the Woodbridge Board of Education.

He was predeceased by his son David Sabol; his parents Andrew and Mary Mishko Sabol; two brothers Andrew and Michael

He is siurvived by his wife of 55 years Judith Ann Williams Sabol; two sons John Sabol of Edison and Robert Sabol and his wife Melissa of Fords; four grandchildren David Sabol, Stacie Sabol, Branda Sabol, and Danielle Sabol; a great-granddaughter Emma Sabol; and a sister Evelyn.

Visiting hours will be Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge.
