John A. Malczynski passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack. He was 75 years old.
Born in Yonkers, NY, he was raised in Brooklyn and has resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township for the past 50 years.
Mr. Malczynski was a communicant of Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church in Iselin and attended mass at Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.
He was a 1963 graduate of Saint Francis Prep High School in Brooklyn, and received his bachelor's degree from St. Francis College, Brooklyn and his Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
He was employed as the Vice-President of Operations with Clinical Marketing Consortium in Tarrytown for 17 years before retiring in 2010.
After his retirement Mr. Malczynski was a dedicated volunteer at Ellis Island and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was a caring, loving, helpful neighbor to all in the community.
He was predeceased by his parents, John A. Malczynski, Sr. and Edna Condon Malczynski and mother-in-law, Mary Louise Reichhardt, who he helped for over 40 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Jane Reichhardt Malczynski; children, Mary Lynn Salomon and her husband, David, of Cranford, Kimberly Osborne and her husband, Scott, of Bridgewater, and Mark Malczynski and his wife, Colleen, of Havertown, PA; His grandchildren, Alec, Amanda, Samantha and Whitney, the joy of his life; and his sister-in-law Maxine Reichhardt.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
