John J. "Biker John" Harris passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. He was 71 years old.

Born in Jersey City on January 10, 1953 to the late Felicia and John Harris, he was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge.

Mr. Harris was employed as tow truck driver with B & L Towing in Carteret, and was previously employed in the same capacity with Scott's Towing in Woodbridge.

He was an active member and bartender at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4410, Woodbridge; and loved Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by a brother, Mark Harris.

Surviving are his daughter, Cassidy Baczewski; son, James Baczewski; his longtime companion, Dawn Acetas; and stepdaughter, Amy Simonelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge.
