John W. Eichbaum of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Penn Medicine, Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro. He was 72 years old.

Born on August 20, 1950, he resided in New Brunswick for most of his life.

John and his father had a love of traveling and they traveled extensively throughout the United States.  John frequently visited his family in Reno, NV and in Roseville, CA.  John would send family members post cards from his travels. He also had a love of photography and would always have his camera in hand to document his travels.   John was a quiet man, and always demonstrated kindness and a smile to all those he would meet.

Mr. Eichbaum was predeceased by his father, William Eichbaum; and mother, Helen Costello.

He is survived by his uncle Lt. Col. Charles Eichbaum and cousin, Virginia Anderson, of Nevada.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue), Woodbridge.  Interment will follow in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday December 6, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
