John N. Barcellona passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He was 70 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on February 15, 1952 to the late Dorothy and Nazareth Barcellona, John was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge. He was a 1971 graduate of Woodbridge High School.

Mr. Barcellona retired in March 2020 after serving for over 30 years as a Union Representative with the United Steelworkers.

John enjoyed building puzzles and framing them to decorate the house. He spent a lot of time outdoors walking in the neighborhood, doing yardwork and gardening. During the holidays, John took pride in creating spectacular indoor and outdoor decorations. He shared his love of celebrating the holidays with all his loved ones.

In addition to his parents Mr. Barcellona was predeceased by his brothers, Edward P. Barcellona, Anthony Barcellona and George Barcellona.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Geardino Barcellona; children, Jessica Barcellona of Woodbridge, Anthony Barcellona and his wife, Amanda, of Sewaren and Adam Barcellona and his wife, Kristen, of Woodbridge; sister, Linda Barcellona, of Woodbridge; brothers, Father Thomas Barcellona of Cape May Courthouse, NJ, James "Jay" Barcellona and his wife, Colleen, of Woodbridge, Peter Barcellona of Woodbridge; sister-in-law, Valerie Barcellona, of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Wyatt, Daisy and Lincoln; beloved nieces, nephews and large extended family.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
