Joanne Snyder of Woodbridge passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Somerset. She was 55 years old.

Born in Plainfield, NJ; She resided in Woodbridge for the past 26 years.

She received her bachelor science degree from Seton Hall University.

Mrs. Snyder was employed as a Nurse with Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth for 25 years.

She was predeceased by her father Richard Ernst who passed away in 2015.

Surviving are her husband of Daniel Snyder; a daughter Rachel Snyder; a son Matthew R. Snyder; her mother Rosemarie Whelan Ernst; two sisters Terry Verdi and Angela Lotano; a brother Richard Ernst; and many nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will take place Sunday, October 1, 2017 3:45 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.

Visiting hours will be Sunday 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Snyder family.
