Joan B. Malloy of Brick passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. She was 95 years old.

Born on October 4, 1930, to the late William and Eva Dalley in Bronx, NY; she resided in Iselin before moving to Brick 44 years ago.

Joan was employed as a switchboard operator at Woodbridge Township Municipal Building and as Clerk with Charms in Wall, NJ for many years.

Mrs. Malloy was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Woodbridge.

Joan loved animals, especially her dog Nellie.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas Malloy who passed away in 1967.

Surviving Joan are her children Lois Kapp and her husband Mark of Howell and Kenneth Malloy and his wife MaryLou of Toms River; her granddaughters Cortney Pechillo and Kristin Pechillo; and seven great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026 10:30 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital or Trinity Episcopal Church.
