Obituary

Joan Cantalupo passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at her home. Born in Newark, she resided in Woodbridge for 55 years. Joan was 82 years old.

Mrs. Cantalupo was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. An avid bowler, she competed in numerous tournaments around the country with her beloved teammates, "The Turtles". She enjoyed being a career homemaker and grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cantalupo was predeceased by a son, Peter Cantalupo, Jr., brother, Richard Meyer and mother Mildred Krauss.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Peter Cantalupo Sr., daughter, Christina Lynn, of Manahawkin; sons, Gregory Cantalupo of Toms River and Steven Cantalupo of Staten Island, NY.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge.
