Jerry R. Evans passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 56 years old.

Born in Saint Louis, MO on July 25, 1967 he was raised in Doniphan, MO and has resided in Woodbridge for the last 25 years.

Mr. Evans was employed as a laborer through Local #77 of the Laborers International Union of North America.

He was an avid outdoorsman, with a special fondness for fishing and hunting.

Jerry was predeceased by his father, John Evans; son, Austin Evans; and brothers, Joey D. Evans and Johnny L. Evans.

Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Rosalind Bertram Evans; children, Faith Hecker and Dustin Evans; mother, JoAnn Evans; sisters, Julie Emery and Janice Evans; and grandchildren, Jerrika, Joseph, Gabriel and Jessica.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
