Jennifer Ann Moore McCarthy of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 46 years old. Born in Rahway She resided in Avenel and Colonia all of her life. Jennifer was employed as a hairdresser for various salons in the area including The Cutting Edge in Sewaren and Albert's in Woodbridge. She was a Communicant of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. Jennifer was predeceased by her father Stephen Moore, Sr. who passed away in 1998. She is survived by three children Tara McCarthy, Courtney McCarthy, and Brian McCarthy all of Avenel; a granddaughter Mia McCarthy her mother Barbara Gabrish Moore of Avenel; two brothers Stephen Moore, Jr. of Avenel, and Robert Moore of Belvidere, NJ; her best friend and fiancé Kenneth Wallace. The Funeral Will take place Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at a time to be announced from the COSTELLO-KOYEN FUNERAL HOME (www.Costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street at Demorest Avenue, Avenel. a Funeral liturgy will follow at St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours will be Monday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. at the funeral home.
