Jeffrey J. Solowski passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 57 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on October 13, 1966, he was raised in Sewaren; and has lived in Avenel for the past three years.

Mr. Solowski was employed as a mechanic with the state of New Jersey at Montclair University for many years and was most recently employed as a custodian with Woodbridge Township.

He was a Scout Leader with Troop #31 at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading for many years.

Jeff was predeceased by his wife, Colleen Maher Solowski, on February 8th of this year; and Father, Joseph Solowski.

Surviving are his mother, Margaret Solowski, of Sewaren; stepson, Scott Grala, of Millersville, PA; sister, Donna Frank, of South Carolina; brother, Michael Solowski, of Brick; and grandchildren, Madison and Beckett Grala.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects beginning at 11:00 a.m.
