Jeffrey Koziar passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Roosevelt Hospital in Edison. He was 62 years old.

Born on June 14, 1963 in Paterson to the late Carol and Walter Koziar, he resided in Wayne, NJ before his family moved to Colonia,NJ in 1965.  In 1973 he moved to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township with his family before moving to Iselin in 2001.

Jeffrey attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ before attending Kean University in Union, NJ where he received his Master's degree.  He then went on to Rutgers University Law in Newark, NJ for his Law Degree.

Mr. Koziar has been employed with the State of New Jersey for the past 25 years, first working out the Trenton office, then transferring to the Newark office, becoming Deputy Attorney General, State of New Jersey.

He is survived by his brother, Walter T. Koziar, of Avenel and his extended family.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Funeral services will take place on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
