Jean Rush passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. She was 102 years old.

Born Jenny Cicchino on May 24, 1913 in New Castle, DE, she was a lifelong member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union; and a longtime communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

Mrs. Rush was predeceased by 2 husbands, Edward Nardone and Robert Rush; a daughter, Jane Siclare; 2 sons, Patrick and Robert Nardone; a granddaughter, Roxanne Siclare; 6 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Surviving are a daughter, Dolores Raspitzi; a son, Edward Nardone; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 8 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. from the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
