Jean Theresa Palumbo of Woodbridge passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at home.   She was 91 years old.

Born on July 15, 1933 to Sam and Sarah Costa Curatilo in Pittston, Pennsylvania, She resided in Woodbridge for the past 80 years.

She was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

Mrs. Palumbo was a Register Clerk with Perth Amboy General Hospital and as a Billing Clerk for The Medical office of Homer, Weber, and Young before retiring in 1995.

In Addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Anthony Palumbo who passed away in 2006; and her daughter Debra Burke.

She is survived by two daughters Dorian Palumbo  and Denise Szczesny (Richard Szczesny); her grandchildren Daniel Burke (Marlena Burke), David Burke (Shannon Burke), Steven Burke (Ashley Burke), Matthew Szczesny, Nicholas Szczesny, Evan Szczesny, and Alyssa Szczesny; her great-grandchildren Jacob Burke, Gia Burke, Anthony Burke, Johnny Burke, Sean Burke, Isabella Burke, Angela Burke, Kayla Fernandez, McKenna Burke, Haley Burke, Whitney Burke, Jaxx Burke, Scarlett Burke; and her great-great grandsons Buck Burke and Jaxon Fernandez.

Funeral will take place on Wednesday 10:00 am from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.  A 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge.  Interment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge

Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Tuesday 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
