Janice Trevena passed away with her family at her side on Monday, December 23, 2013 at her home in the Kingston section of Franklin Township. She was 79 years old. Born in Iselin, she resided in Lakewood before moving to Kingston 30 Years ago. Mrs. Trevena is survived by her husband of 60 years, George Trevena, Sr.; five daughters, Carol Walker of Tampa, FL, Nancy Royle of Jackson, Janet Mohr of Kingston, Shirley Trevena of Tampa, FL and Georgette Trevena of Kingston; a son, George A. Trevena, Jr., of Princeton; two sisters, Carol Stavola of Red Bank and Joan Hilbert of Colts Neck; a brother, Eric Hilbert, of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter. A Funeral service will take place on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 8:30 p.m. at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel St., Avenel, NJ 07001. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. at the funeral home.
