Janet "Bubbles" Florio Sacripanti of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.  She was 89 years old.

Born in Avenel on February 10, 1934; She was a lifelong resident.

Janet attended Woodbridge Vocational School.  She was employed for the Woodbridge Township Board of Education for over 25 years as a School Aide retiring in 2003.

Mrs. Sacripanti was a lifelong Communicant of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel and a member of The Avenel Golden Circle Senior Citizens.

Janet was the matriarch of a very large family with many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Her greatest blessings were her children and grandchildren.

Janet had a very big and kind heart and will be deeply missed by so many but never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Sacripanti, Jr. who passed away in 2012; her son Anthony Sacripanti, III who passed away in 2015; her daughter-in-law Sandra Sacripanti who passed away in January; two brothers Frank Florio and Michael Florio; eight sisters Josephine Foglia, Rose Mastrangelo, Louise Servillo, Clara Cavallaro, Grace Esposito, Lucy Clausnitzer, Phyllis Figard and Antoinette Fisney.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Kane and her partner Rob Sparrow of Avenel; two grandchildren Meredith Mazzarella and her husband Evan of Clark and Justin Kane of Avenel; her sister-in-law Jean Sacripanti and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 8, 2023 9:00 am from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.  A 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy will follow at St. Andrew's R.C. Church.  Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
