Janet (Pescatore) Gigantino passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was 82 years old.

Born in Orange, she resided in Colonia for most of her life before moving to East Hanover and then to Edison.

Janet was a communicant of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Orange.

She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Mary Guadagno Pescatore; brothers, Charles, Anthony and Henry "Junior" Pescatore and sisters, Catherine Carosia, Anne Pescatore, Lillian Lombardo and Barbara Grande.

Surviving are her devoted husband, Leonard Gigantino, Sr.; loving children, Leonard Gigantino, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen, of Colonia, Linda Rezes and her husband, Dave, of Avenel, David Gigantino and his wife, April, of Landing, and Denise Gigantino Nicol and her husband, Ron, of Colonia; adored grandchildren, Nicholas Petretta U.S.M.C., Giana Gigantino, David Rezes, Leonard Gigantino, III, U.S.M.C., Jessica Gigantino, and Marc Rezes; brother William Pescatore, sister Betty and her husband Niel Cantalupo, sister-in-law Nancy Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services took place under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), Woodbridge with interment in Hazel Wood Cemetery, Colonia.

A memorial service for Janet will be scheduled at a future date.
