Jan B. Jencik passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Care One at Highlands Nursing Center. He was 91 years old.

Born on August 1, 1933 in Czechoslovakia to the late Maria and Michael B. Jencik, he resided in Linden before moving to Woodbridge 60 years ago.

He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War; and was employed as a paint chemist with Tenax Finishing in Newark for many years before retiring in 1998.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, John B. Jencik, in 1980; and brother, Michael Jencik, in 1996.

Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Ann Kondracki Jencik; daughter, Laurie Ann Mahon and her husband, Kevin, of Annandale; sons, Joseph Jencik of Woodbridge and Thomas Jencik and his wife, Donna, of Barnegat; and beloved grandchildren, Aaron, Haley, Chloe and Ella Jencik and Emily Mahon.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Clover Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
