James Salotti passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at his home in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township. He was 64 years old.

Born on July 20, 1960 in Jersey City, he has resided in Avenel for 34 years.

Mr. Salotti was employed as a distributor with Little Debbie Snacks for the past 25 years; and a member of Post 4410, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Woodbridge. He was also a life-long member of the Avenel-Colonia First Aid Squad.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles Salotti.

Surviving are his loving wife of 28 years, Denise Kowalewski Salotti; son, Charles Salotti and his wife, Jennifer, of Colorado; daughters, Taylor Salotti of Sayreville and Sara Salotti of Avenel; mother, Barbara Salotti, of Toms River; brother, Stephen Salotti and his wife, Carolyn, of Colonia; sister, Karen Freund and her husband, Tom, of Waretown; and beloved grandchildren, Isabella, Riley and Rowan.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Post 4410, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 393 Pearl Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 in Mr. Salotti's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
