James R. Reese, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, Septmber 23, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 63 years old. Born in Newark, he resided in Colonia and Woodbridge before moving to Metuchen 20 years ago. Mr. Reese was employed as a plumber with O.S. Dunigan & Co. in Woodbridge for many years and as a maintnance mechanic at St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen for the past 2 years. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Reese, and his mother Audrey Taylor; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Simpson Reese; three daughters, Diane Savino, Dawn Reese Coons and Bernice Reese Sica; a son, James R. Reese, Jr.; his step-mother, Margaret Crozier Reese, of Colonia; four brothers; three sisters; twelve grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 1:00 pm until 4:30 p.m.
