Obituary

James F. Redlich passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024 at the Venetian Care and Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy. He was 91 years old.

Born on July 1, 1932 in Newark, NJ to the late George and Gladys Redlich, he was a resident of Woodbridge, NJ for most of his life.

Mr. Redlich "Moe" was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army.

He was employed as a truck driver for Russell Stanley in Perth Amboy for many years before retiring in 1996.

He was also very handy with home improvements. It brought tears to his eyes to watch the Jerry Lewis Telethon annually and see the difference the fundraiser would make in the children's lives. He loved his family, his dogs, car racing, cooking, buffet, gardening, fishing and crabbing, watching game shows, model trains and cars, and the holidays.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Santa M. Redlich; a daughter Donna Polonis; two sisters Edith Eicher and Charlynn Merrit; and his brother Walter Redlich.

Mr. Redlich is survived by his children Karen Stefanelli of Woodbridge, Barbara Fasanella of Piscataway, Robert Redlich of Ohio, Susan Redlich of Woodbridge, James Redlich of Bedminster and Rhonda McMorrow of Carteret; his sister Doris Lynn of North Carolina; his fifteen grandchildren and his twenty-two great grandchildren.

Forever in our hearts, Ol' Blue Eyes.
