James Vincent Mazza passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 85 years old. Mr. Mazza was born in, and a lifelong resident of Woodbridge Township. He retired in 1984 after 25 years in the photo finishing department of E.I. DuPont Corporation in Sayreville; and was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Mazza was predeceased his wife, Renee, in 2007; a daughter, Jamie Tompkins; a sister, Rose Hudanich; and four brothers, Joseph, John, Frank and Tony Mazza. Surviving are a son, Vincent Mazza and his wife, Lori, of Fanwood; two step daughters, Debra Amaniera and Jacqueline Fontaino; three step sons, Steven Cicerone, Richard Cicerone and his wife, Jeri, and Raymond Cicerone and his wife, Belle; sixteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Also surviving is his companion, Marge Holowchuk. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
