James Victor Freeman passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 63 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on July 11, 1959 to the late Stella and John V. Freeman, Sr., he was a lifelong resident.

Mr. Freeman was a graduate of Perth Amboy Voc-Tech and was employed with Edison Shoe Repair for many years before retiring in 2005.

He was a former communicant of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Perth Amboy.

Surviving are his sister, Mary Ann Freeman, of Perth Amboy; brothers, John V. Freeman, Jr. and his wife Catherine Pachucki Freeman of Woodbridge and Joseph V. Freeman and his wife Grace Sardina Freeman of Perth Amboy; and nephews, John V. Freeman III and Jared V. Freeman.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
