James A. Flora passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 59 years old.

Born in Hoboken, James resided in Edison before moving to Fords in 2016.

He was predeceased by his brothers, David in 1976 and Michael in 1999.

Surviving are his daughters, Charissa of Piscataway and Madison of Illinois; parents, Carmen and Catherine Loughran Flora, of Edison; a nephew, David Flora; and his girlfriend Christina Ventura.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. There will be a brief prayer on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a procession to Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington where James will be laid to rest with his two brothers.
