James C. Dadon passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at his home in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township. He was 74 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on July 26, 1949 to the late Anna and Edward Dadon, he has resided in Port Reading for 44 years.

Mr. Dadon was employed with Public Service Electric and Gas for 37 years, retiring as a collection representative in 2005.

He was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading; and a member of the Perth Amboy HUBS for over fifty years.

An avid sports fan, not only did he play a lot of ball in his youth he also coached little league for many years.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Robert and twin brother Edward as well as sister, Kathleen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia Korodan Dadon; daughter, Lauren and Joseph of Edison; son, James and his wife, Samantha, of Howell with grandson on the way, sister, Barbara Wirkowski and her husband, James, of Edison, along with cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.  Entombment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
