James Benyola of Woodbridge passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Hartwyck at Edison Estates. He was 85 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy; He resided in Woodbridge Township most of his life.

Mr. Benyola was a United States Army Veteran after returning from his service to our Country He was an Independent Insurance Broker in The Perth Amboy and Woodbridge area before retiring.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Mr. Benyola was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Scala Benyola who passed away in 2016; his parents Anthony and Josephine Calantoni Benyola; a sister Mary Perscio; and a brother Paul Benyola.

Surviving are his son Anthony J Benyola and his wife Kathy Ann of Howell; a daughter Jo-Ann Benyola of Florida; a granddaughter Kelly Elizabeth Benyola; a sister Carol Higgins of Maryland; two brothers Philip Benyola of Florida and George Benyola of Florida.

Funeral services will take place Monday, December 10, 2018 12 noon at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Interment will be in The Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery, Fords.

Visiting hours will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
