Jacqueline Coester passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 87 years old.

Born in Bronx, NY, she has resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township since 1964.

Mrs. Coester was employed as an executive secretary with Alpine Aromatics in Edison for 25 years prior to her retirement.

She was a communicant of Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church in Iselin; and was a former member of the Iselin Garden Club and the Ladies Auxiliary at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She enjoyed canasta, mahjong and lunches with the"Luncheon Connection".

Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Coester, in 2003; and son, Joseph Coester, Jr., in 1965.

Surviving are her children, Lauren Gallagher of Fair Haven, Thomas J. Coester of Fords and Andrew W. Coester of Keasbey; sister, Marjorie Bowman; grandchildren, George "Buddy" Zadroga and Carli Rose Coester; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church in Iselin. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
