Isabella Sposato passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Capital Health System at Fuld in Trenton, NJ. She was 81 years old. Born in Nocera Terinese, Calabria, Italy, she resided in Brooklyn, NY for many years before moving to Woodbridge, NJ 11 years ago. Mrs. Sposato was a self-employed seamstress and communicant of Saint Ephrem's Catholic Church in Brooklyn. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicola Sposato, in 1999; a daughter, Maria Sposato, in 1968; and her parents, Rosaria and Antonio Villella. Surviving are three daughters, Gisella Sposato of West New York, NJ, Silvana Sposato of Woodbridge, NJ and Rosella Virdo and her husband, Marcos, of Woodbridge, NJ; two sisters, Antonietta and Giovanina Villella, both of Italy; four brothers, Ferdinando, Carlo, Giuseppe and Vittorio Villella, all of Italy; and three grandchildren, Michael and Joseph Bocchieri and Jessica Virdo. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Ephrem's Church (stephremparish.com), 929 Bay Ridge Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11228 under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge, NJ. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
