Irene C. O'Brien of the Iselin Section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway. She was 72 years old.

Born in Paisley, Scotland; She resided in Iselin for the past 43 years.

Mrs. O'Brien was employed with The Woodbridge Board of Education as a Cafeteria Worker at Fords Middle School for 15 years retiring in 2009.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Patrick O'Brien; a daughter Karyn O'Brien of Iselin; and a niece Iris McIlroy of Belfast, Ireland.

Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.Costello-greiner.com), Woodbridge.
