Howard C. Smith passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Alameda Care Center in Perth Amboy. He was 93 years old. Born in the Bronx, NY, he has resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township since 1954. Mr. Smith was employed as a mechanic with General Dynamics Corporation in Avenel before retiring in 1987; and belonged to Trinity Episcopal Church in Woodbridge. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris Dalley Smith; a daughter, Dawn Jones, of Medford; four sons, William Smith of Iselin, Cliff Smith of Howell, Craig Smith of Jackson and Erik Smith of Iselin; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services are private under the direction of the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
