Howard C. Passero passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with his loving family by his side. He was 65 years old.

Born in Paterson on August 2, 1957, he has resided in Woodbridge for the past 32 years.

Mr. Passero was employed as a driver with the Star-Ledger newspaper in Newark for 23 years until 2017; and has worked as a heavy equipment operator with Middlesex County since 2017.

He was a member of BPOE Elks Lodge No. 2116 in Woodbridge; and former member and Past President of the Harley Owners Group of Edison.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, MaryLynn Aleksandrowicz Passero; children, Jason Howard Passero and his wife, Melissa, of Somerset, Kimberly Kelly and her husband, Ian, of Hewitt and Lauren Passero of Woodbridge; and grandchildren, Julianna, Mia, Kelton and Braelyn.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Howard's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
