Henry P. Haidacher's Obituary
Henry P. Haidacher passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 95 years old.
He was born in Ashley, PA and has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for the past 53 years.
Mr. Haidacher was employed as maintenance manager with Burry Biscuit Company in Newark for over 35 years prior to his retirement.
He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, where he participated in the invasion of Normandy; belonged to Avenel Memorial Post 7164, Veterans of Foreign Wars; was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel; and a 4 th degree member of Saint Andrew Council 5088, Knights of Columbus, Avenel.
Mr. Haidacher was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Henry Haidacher; and sister, Anna Bigus.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Agnes Tomko Haidacher; children, Henry P. Haidacher III of Avenel, Mark J. Haidacher of Avenel, James D. Haidacher of Pompton Lakes and Victor S. Haidacher of Chalfont, PA; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Entombment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Saint Andrew Catholic Church, 244 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ 07001 in Mr. Haidacher's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
