Helen D. Sullivan passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at The Manor Care Center in Freehold. She was 95 years old.

Born in Jersey City, she resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for many years before moving to Freehold.

Mrs. Sullivan was employed for many years with William Grant & Sons Exporters in Edison; and was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel, where she belonged to the Altar-Rosary Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Sullivan, in 1993; sister, Alice Taylor; and brothers, Michael and Walter Zazula.

Surviving are her children, Debbie Sullivan of Linden and James Sullivan and his wife, Candice, of Livingston; and brother, John Zazula, of East Rutherford.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
