Helen Izso passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 90 years old.

She was born in, and a lifelong resident of, Woodbridge.

Helen was employed for many years in the accounts payable department of NL Industries; and was a member of the Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church of Woodbridge.

She was predeceased by her parents, Zigmond and Elizabeth Simon Izso; sister Elizabeth Roskey; and brother, Alex Izso.

Surviving are her two nieces, Lori Roskey, of Ocean and Susan Izso Gomes of Woodbridge; cousin, Steve Sepa, of Woodbridge; and dear friend, Alberta Sobrey, of North Brunswick.

Helen's love for her family and friends was undeniable. She was extremely patriotic and had a great love for our country.

Helen enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, reading and music, but most of all she loved people. She was kind and friendly to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project and St Jude Children Hospital in Helen Izso's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
