Helen L. Hudak of Selma, North Carolina formerly of Woodbridge passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, North Carolina. She was 91 years old.
Born in Patterson, NJ; She resided in Woodbridge for over 60 years before moving to Selma 3 ½ years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel; a former member of the Avenel Golden Circle Senior Citizens.
Helen was employed as a secretary with Supermarkets General for 12 years and as a Teachers Aid at School # 11 in Woodbridge for 12 years before retiring.
She was predeceased by her husband Stephan P Hudak who passed away in 2013; and her parents William and Anna Marie Masiak O'Rear.
Surviving are her children William Hudak and his wife Angela of Selma, North Carolina, Michael Hudak of Pennsylvania, Stephen Hudak and his wife Patricia of Barnegat, NJ; a sister Betty Martelli of Fords; her grandchildren Lisa and Tracy; her great-grandchildren Victoria, Herbie, and Matthew; two great-great grandchildren Aiden and Elijah.
Funeral will take place Thursday, April 11, 2024 9:00 am from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at the corner of Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Avenel. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery Colonia.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral; home.
