Hazel A. Barnhart passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Wedgwood Gardens Care Center in Freehold. She was 85 years old.

She was born in Westfield and resided in Rahway before moving to Freehold in 2004.

Mrs. Barnhart was employed as a Customer Service Representative with National State Bank in Linden.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Barnhart, in 1980 and daughter, Linda Hudak, in 2008.

Hazel is survived by her son, David Barnhart and his wife, Judith, of Woodbridge; brother, Roger Brown, of Linden; grandchildren, Richard and Daniel Hudak; and great grandchildren, Tyler, Rebecca and Daniel Hudak, Jr.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery, Rahway. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
