Haydee Montanez-Castro passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. She was 67 years old. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, she resided in Hoboken before moving to Woodbridge 30 years ago. Mrs. Montanez-Castro was employed as conference coordinator with the Wilentz, Goldman and Spitzer law firm in Woodbridge for the past 20 years. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Francisco Castro; a daughter, Maritza Negron; a son, Edwin Montanez; two sisters, Gladys and Mary Rodriguez; nine brothers, Nelson, Jaime, Efrain, Wilfredo, Adrian, Edwin, Juan, Eddie and William Rodriguez; two stepsons, Danny and Francisco Castro, Jr.; four grandchildren; and three step grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
