Grace L. Sardina-Freeman passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. She was 69 years old.

Born in New Brunswick on November 3, 1954 to the late Philomena and Emil Sardina, she resided in Sayreville and has lived in Perth Amboy since 1983.

She was a graduate of Sayreville High School, Class of 1971; and was employed with the United States Postal Service as an administrative assistant at their Kilmer facility for 23 years before retiring in 2014.

Grace was a member of the Perth Amboy Royal Garden Club and the Friends of the Perth Amboy Library.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Joseph V. Freeman; brother, Pete Sardina and his wife, Kathleen, of Brick; sister in law, Mary Ann Freeman, of Perth Amboy; brother in law, John V. Freeman, Jr. and his wife, Catherine, of Woodbridge; nieces and nephews, John V. Freman III, Jared V. Freeman, Anthony Mandrik, Brian Mandrik, Kathleen Mandrik, Tara Bosco and Peter E. Sardina; and 11 great nieces and great nephews.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 7:45 p.m. at  Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
