Grace M. O’Connor passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at her home in Clark. She was 89 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 23, 1936 to the late Helen and Anthony Calogero, she resided in Jersey City and the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township before moving to Clark in 2018.

Grace's proudest achievement and greatest joy in life was raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond J. O’Connor, in 1992.

Surviving are her loving children, Helene Miele of Clark, Raymond J. O’Connor, Jr. of Forked River and Shawn O’Connor of Woodbridge; grandchildren, Ryan, Joey, Christopher, Shawn, Erin and Roxy; and great grandchildren, Dakota, Ryan, Olivia, Emma, Harrison Nathaniel, Carter James, Dylan Connor, Tommy and Jackie.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Aedan’s Catholic Church, 800 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07036 in Mrs. O’Connor’s memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
