Gloria Ann Rodrigues of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. She was 80 years old. Born in Annamalais, India; She resided in Rahway and Woodbridge before moving to Monroe. She was a communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge Mrs. Rodrigues was a Registered Nurse serving in The Indian Air Force as a Captain and was employed at Rahway Hospital for 12 years retiring in 1995. Gloria loved playing cards and crossword puzzles and enjoyed watching Games Shows. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Joseph Rodrigues; two daughters Cherryl Hodel and her husband Michael of Monroe, and Sandra Marriott and her husband Noel of Woodbridge; a son Lee Rodrigues and his wife Caron of Woodbridge; five grandchildren Leon, Fabian, Brendan, Alexandria, and Hollee; two brothers Frederick Davids and Eric Davids both of East Orange. The funeral will take place Saturday, February 14, 2015 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visiting hours will be Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
